Stumbled across this little cafe by chance and honestly it made my day. The owner Adam is one of those genuinely nice people you don’t come across often. From the start he made me feel welcome and we ended up having a chat that felt easy and natural. No rushing you along, no awkward small talk, just a really sound bloke who’s easy to talk to and clearly enjoys meeting people. The service was spot on because it came with care rather than routine. The hot chocolate deserves a special mention because it might genuinely be one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s rich but not heavy, smooth without being overly sweet, and you can actually taste the chocolate instead of it just being warm milk with sugar. It feels well balanced and comforting, especially on a cold day. The temperature was bang on too, hot enough to warm you up but not so hot you have to wait ages before taking a sip. Then there’s the lemon cake, which is made fresh by his partner and it really shows. Soft, moist, and full of flavour, with that fresh lemon taste that’s light and uplifting without being sharp or overpowering. It’s the kind of cake that feels comforting but still fresh, and you can tell it’s been made with care. One of those slices you finish and immediately wish you’d grabbed another. The whole setup makes it even better. The cafe runs out of the back of his van which is honestly brilliant. It’s creative, simple, and full of character. No fancy setup, just quality drinks, great cake, and a friendly face serving it all. It’s always a treat when you come across a local business like this. Places like this bring life into the community and remind you why supporting small businesses matters. We should always give back where we can because it helps keep that sense of community alive. I’ll definitely be back.
Really lovely café with very friendly and welcoming staff. The service was great and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. I have to say, their latte is one of the best I’ve ever had – smooth, rich, and full of flavour. Definitely a place I would recommend and will happily come back to.
A lovely little stop on our walks. We always have a treat here and the owner is always ready with a smile and a friendly chat. Well worth a visit. Currently has a petition going.
Mi Cafe Su Cafe has been a much welcomed addition to this stretch of the cycle path! The locally sourced coffee and vegan pastries are excellent and Adam always has a smile on his face! Perfect for a quick pop in on my commute into town or on a leisurely weekend walk stop.
Amazing coffee, amazing location. Prices are good and the customer service 10 out of 10. Really recommend this coffee shop.
